Martin Rademaker and Dr. Stefan Thies to join Fiege Executive Board

Greven, 4 June 2019. The logistics company Fiege is adding Martin Rademaker and Dr. Stefan Thies to its Executive Board. The two new members will be joining Alfred Messink and Peter Scherbel. Jens Fiege and Felix Fiege will chair the Fiege Executive Board, now composed of a total six members. 

“We have enjoyed strong growth over the past years. Looking forward, we want to pursue aspiring goals and aim to develop new business fields. Adding two new members to our board reflects the positive development of our company”, says Felix Fiege. As chief executives, Felix Fiege and Jens Fiege will be devoting more of their time to managing the company as a whole, and to the strategic orientation of the Fiege Group. “We will focus even more so on the innovative, cultural and structural advancement of our business”, explains Jens Fiege. “This equally includes strengthening strategic partnerships with our clients.”

The expansion of the Executive Board ensures that Fiege can respond swiftly and efficiently within its core business segments to the constantly changing needs of its clients with ever-new supply chain solutions. Alfred Messink, Peter Scherbel, Martin Rademaker and Dr. Stefan Thies will share the responsibility for the operational business units.

Martin Rademaker will be joining the Fiege Executive Board in September 2019. Having dedicated 17 years of his life to Fiege, the 37-year-old has held multiple positions at Fiege both in Germany and abroad. Since 2014, he has been managing with great success the Omnichannel Retail Business Unit as Managing Director together with Christoph Mangelmans and Walter Johne.

Dr. Stefan Thies has been appointed to the Fiege Executive Board starting 1 June 2019. Prior to this he held various positions at Fielmann AG for 14 years, 12 of which as a director. He was last in charge of HR, Controlling, Organisation and IT. Before that, Dr. Thies (50) had been with McKinsey & Company.
