Spirits are stored at the Fiege location in Bocholt
Bocholt, 16th January 2018. Fiege Logistik is set to become the new logistics partner of Pernod Ricard Deutschland. Starting 1st July 2018, Fiege will take charge of the spirits logistics for the Cologne-based enterprise which markets and distributes such familiar brands as Ramazzotti, Havana Club, or Absolut Vodka. Fiege will process all supply chain activities for the spirits producer from its location in Bocholt.
Prior to this, Pernod Ricard Deutschland had been in partnership with a renowned logistics company for many years. Following an extensive call for tenders, the decision was made in favour of Fiege, leaving the spirits producer with a highly positive outlook on the future: “We believe that Fiege is the right partner for the years to come to further optimise our process flows and service delivery performed for our customers”, says Romain Benoist, Director of Finance and Administration at Pernod Ricard Deutschland. “We look forward to working together. This new partnership will allow us to further accelerate the spirits business.”
Fiege already caters to multiple spirits producers at its location in Bocholt. “In Pernod Ricard Deutschland we managed to acquire a strategically important customer”, says Michael Lorca, Managing Director Consumer Goods at Fiege. “We look forward to a long-term partnership.” The new addition of Pernod Ricard Deutschland reinforces Fiege’s position as a strategic partner within spirits logistics.
