Fiege Healthcare Logistik extends partnership with St. Franziskus-Stiftung

Ahlen, 6th April 2017. The long-standing partnership of the Fiege Group with St. Franziskus-Stiftung Münster will be extended further. The contract extension with St. Franziskus-Stiftung, one of the leading denominational and charitable hospital groups in Germany, has now been signed. 16 years ago, Fiege opened the first Medical Order Center (MOC) together with St. Franziskus-Stiftung in Ahlen. In 2012, Bochum was added as a further location. The MOCs supply over 50 facilities with medical, sterile and pharmaceutical products daily.

“We are pleased that the partnership-based collaboration and our dedication is viewed positively by the client and that, as a result of this, a long-term extension was signed”, so the comment of Aydin Demir, branch manager of the Fiege locations Bochum and Ahlen, on the contract extension. Its national hospital network makes Fiege Healthcare the market leader in Germany. Next to the supply of hospitals, senior citizens’ homes and home care patients, Fiege Healthcare also operates a network that delivers food.
