Contract logistics provider set to increase logistics area at its Mega Center by 16,000 square metres
Hamburg, 21 February 2020. The Mega Center in Hamburg is planning to annex additional logistics space to its current 70,000 square metres-large warehouse. Plans for the annex are already being drafted. First services for customers are expected to be carried out on the 16.000 square metres-large annexed area in 2022.
The Mega Center Hamburg also renders a number of value-added services in combination with a tried and tested supply chain management system. The planned annex is to meet the ongoing rise in demand for logistics and handling areas and emphasise the importance of the Hamburg facility as a gateway – if not the gateway – to the world. Fiege’s Hamburg branch built alongside the A1 motorway is designed as a multi-user facility and caters to clients from the tires, industry, textiles and consumer goods sectors.
